The project includes removal of existing roofing and replacement with new roofing at two (2) Depew Fire Department Buildings: 45 Meridian Street and 112 Brewster Street. The work will include removal and disposal of existing roofing materials, replacement of insulation in selected areas, addition of insulation or other infill to direct drainage to roof drains, and other elements to provide for a complete roof installation.

The project consists of approximately 380 linear feet of 8” PVC watermain pipe, 330 feet of 8” PVC sanitary sewer pipe, and the extension of Farnsworth Avenue to connect Castlebar Drive and Meadow Drive, including milling, paving, pavement marking, signage, sidewalks, and an interconnection.

WWTP headworks and related utility work

Interior renovations for 2 rooms in the Library. Abatement, demolition, electrical work, new interior doors and frames, new wall and floor finishes and millwork

Modifications to an existing fire escape including a new ladder and gate.

The project involves upgrade of the comfort/fish cleaning station which includes the installation of a second lavatory with a separate entrance; replacement of the fish grinding equipment; and upgrade of the HVAC and electrical and lighting equipment. Alternates to the base bid work described above include removal and replacement of the north and/or south staircase and associated concrete slabs and site restoration, and/or providing a pavilion, concrete slab and associated site work.

The project includes installation of a total of approximately 5,900 feet of 16-inch PVC suction and distribution waterlines to service a future elevated water storage tank. Waterline installation will include valves, hydrants and appurtenances to make a complete installation. These waterlines will be connected to existing water transmission lines. The work also includes installation of storm sewer piping and manholes, restoration of concrete sidewalk, road pavement along Division Street in the Village of Hamburg and parking lot pavement at the Hamburg Central School District Middle School. Connection to existing transmission waterlines will be made at the intersections of Division Street and Legion Drive and Division Street and North Street.

Mill and Pave Market Street beginning from the north side of the intersection with Main Street / East Main Street, continue north and east on Market Street, and ending at the east side of the intersection with Matt Murphy Way / Lake Avenue. Mill and Pave Elm Street beginning from the north side of the intersection with Chestnut Street, continue south, and ending at the north side of the intersection with Walnut Street. Mill and Pave Chestnut Street beginning from the east side of the intersection with Market Street, continue east, and ending at the east side of the intersection with Elm Street.

Replacement of sidewalks on Erie Street and Terrace Boulevard adjacent to Firemen’s Park
